How to write a load listing carriers can quote at once
An incomplete listing means questions, delays and wrong prices. The details a load should carry so a carrier can quote on first read.

A carrier reading a listing is looking for one answer: does this load fit my truck, my route and my schedule? If the listing does not say, they either ask or move on. Both cost you time.
What every listing needs
- Loading and unloading place: country and city are enough; the full address is shared at order stage. The city's postal code makes the area clear.
- Date window: the day for loading and unloading and, if possible, a time slot.
- Vehicle and body type: curtainsider, reefer, mega, box. For reefers, give the temperature range.
- Weight and size: gross weight, loading metres (LDM) or pallet count. For part loads this sets the price directly.
- Loading method: rear, side or top; is there a forklift or a ramp.
- Special conditions: ADR class, non-stackable goods, customs formalities, Incoterms rule.
- Payment term: carriers plan cash flow around it, and it affects the price.
- Price: give a target price if you want, or collect offers.
Set a price or collect offers?
A target price gets fast results; the carrier knows your expectation when opening the listing and quotes around it. If you do not know the market, collecting offers is better. On Order And Load only you see the offers; carriers do not see each other's prices, so the ranking reflects real prices.
When is the full address shared?
The city is enough in the listing. When you accept an offer, you add full addresses and loading or unloading reference numbers to the order card in the chat, and they go straight into the order document.
Short definitions of the terms are in the Freight Glossary.
